Sungevity and Sonnenbatterie Announce Partnership to Offer Home Energy Storage

Through the partnership, Sungevity will offer Sonnenbatterie smart energy storage systems to its network of customers in the U.S. and Europe, starting in the second half of 2015. Sonnenbatterie’s highly sophisticated storage systems incorporate Sony’s Fortelion lithium ion cells with an industry-leading 10,000 charge cycles.
Sonnenbatterie chose to partner with Sungevity due to the solar provider’s unparalleled customer experience and proprietary remote solar design technology. Customers who participate in the program will consume more of their own solar energy, enjoy reduced costs and have access to backup power during outages.
